The PAUDIN NS5 Professional Knife Set consists of the N1 chef's knife, N4 bread knife, N5 Santoku knife, N7 Office knife and the N8 paring knife.
The chef's knife is an all-round kitchen knife that is used for all branches of culinary art.
The bread knife is ideal for cutting bread and hard fruits such as melon.
The Santoku knife, meaning 'three virtues', is designed to meet a variety of cutting tasks in the kitchen. It is lighter and sharper than a regular chef's knife, making it an excellent choice for cutting meat, fish and vegetables.
An Office knife is indispensable in every kitchen, fits comfortably in the hand and weighs less than a chef's knife. Perfect for all jobs where the chef's knife is just too big.
Finally, the Peeling Knife, as the name suggests, is a fine peeling knife and perfect for more precision work in the kitchen.
The knives are made of German 4116 carbon steel, which in addition to a high carbon percentage also contains molybdenum, vanadium, manganese, silicone and chromium. This composition ensures excellent tensile strength, high hardness and good wear resistance. The stainless high-carbon steel is characterised by a very high hardness of more than 56 Rockwell Scale of Hardness, part C (HRC). Thanks to this high hardness, the knives remain sharp for a long time.
Although the knives are dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing and drying immediately to ensure a longer lifespan. Preferably store your knives in a knife block, on a magnetic strip or even back in the gift box.
